The Haven Community Coffee House, spearheaded by Victory Outreach Church Birmingham, is poised to become a beacon of unity and support within the Great Barr community. Situated on the bustling Newton Road, this not-for-profit venture seeks to provide a warm, inclusive environment that fosters meaningful connections and combats social isolation. By hosting a variety of activities tailored to diverse groups—from dementia support and youth engagement to creative arts and parent-child craft sessions—The Haven aims to be more than just a coffee shop. It aspires to be a sanctuary that nurtures community spirit, supports mental well-being, and champion’s positive social change. With a strong foundation in Christian values, The Haven is dedicated to reinvesting its resources back into the community, ensuring its programs and services continue to evolve to meet the needs of its patrons and the community.  Some of the proceeds will also go to fund supported housing projects, and restorative aims for young people and those in addiction.
